We are seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join our Dispute Resolution team, where you will work on matters of real public significance, be encouraged to take ownership and be supported to develop your skills in an inclusive, high-performing environment.

About the Team

Our Dispute Resolution team handles some of the most complex and high-profile cases in the UK, including major public inquiries and investigations, and is known for the quality and breadth of its work. Whether advising core participants, supporting clients through statutory inquiries or managing large-scale document review exercises, we work on matters that are often at the forefront of public interest and legal development and give our people the opportunity to make a lasting impact.

As a Paralegal, you will join a supportive environment, where high standards are matched by openness, trust and a genuine investment in people. Expect a workplace where curiosity is welcomed, teamwork comes naturally and every voice is heard. You will have the chance to build your experience alongside talented colleagues, take responsibility for your work and grow in a firm that values both ambition and balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the day-to-day management of public inquiry matters, including drafting and reviewing correspondence, witness statements and submissions, with a consistent focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Conduct thorough document review and management, including e-disclosure exercises and the organisation of large volumes of evidence, using a methodical and collaborative approach.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with inquiry procedures and timetables, taking ownership of your work and contributing to the smooth running of the wider team.
  • Support lawyers in managing client matters, preparing hearing bundles and meeting deadlines across complex and fast-moving workstreams.
  • Liaise with clients, counsel and third parties with professionalism, clarity and respect to help matters progress effectively.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare reports and briefing notes as required, contributing to work that is meaningful, challenging and high impact.

What We're Looking For

  • A law degree or equivalent qualification, together with a strong interest in high-profile dispute resolution work.
  • Previous experience as a Paralegal within large-scale document review projects is essential.
  • Experience working on public inquiries would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Enthusiasm, sound judgement and a genuine willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive team player who is equally comfortable taking ownership of their own work and supporting others.
  • A problem solver with a methodical and logical approach, ready to contribute to work of real significance.
