The Opportunity

As a Resourcing Business Partner, you'll be the driving force behind how we attract and secure top legal talent. Working closely with Partners and hiring managers across the firm, you'll bring partnering, creativity, market insight and genuine strategic thinking to every hire.

This isn't a tick-box recruitment role. You'll challenge conventional thinking, build meaningful relationships with candidates, and help us stand out in a competitive market. Your voice will matter – and so will your ideas.

What You'll Do

Partner with purpose: Act as the strategic link between our Resourcing team and legal departments, guiding Partners through every stage of the hiring journey.

Build our brand: Create compelling advertising strategies and craft adverts that capture what makes Burges Salmon a genuine employer of choice.

Innovate and improve: Constantly seek new approaches to resourcing – whether that's fresh assessment methods, untapped talent pools, or smarter ways to engage candidates.

Cultivate relationships: Develop strong networks with agencies and suppliers who share our commitment to quality.

Drive insight: Lead market mapping, salary benchmarking and reporting that informs firm-wide decisions.

Who You Are

You've built your career in 360 recruitment – managing the full cycle from sourcing to offer (either in an agency or in-house). You know that great hiring is equal parts art and science, and you bring both.

You're proactive – keeping stakeholders informed without being asked.

You're creative – bringing fresh perspectives to how we attract talent.

You're commercially aware – understanding shifting market dynamics and adapting accordingly.

You're a trusted advisor – confident enough to challenge constructively, supportive enough to understand the pressures hiring managers face.
