Billi joined the Real Estate team at Burges Salmon in 2024. Billi has experience advising a range of clients in the commercial, energy, finance and development sectors. In particular, her experience includes portfolio disposals and acquisitions (commercial and energy), real estate finance, corporate occupier and energy projects. Her experience includes providing contractual and strategic advice to clients.
Experience
- Renewable energy clients: Acting for major renewable energy clients on renewable energy projects including advising clients on a wide range of project documentation comprising option agreements, leases, deeds of easement, and other documents.
- Multiple lenders: Advising a wide range of lenders such as Lloyds Bank Plc, in relation to high value acquisition financing, development financing and portfolio refinancing transactions across a wide range of UK real estate assets.
- Advising on the sale and acquisitions of various property portfolios including retail parks, renewal energy projects and industrial developments.
- Energy Developer: Acting as part of the team advising a developer exercising options over sites intended for a solar farm and BESS development, including assisting on the financing and corporate restructuring of the project.
- Advising key clients on freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals and landlord and tenant transactions.
- Various landowners: Providing advice to various landowners on various energy projects to be located on their land.
