Caroline is a Director in the dispute resolution team specialising in:

  • The management of multi-claims litigation;
  • Banking & finance disputes;
  • Complex contract, misrepresentation, and breach of warranty claims; and
  • Professional negligence, particularly on behalf of claimants against solicitors, surveyors / valuers, and actuaries

Caroline has extensive experience in advising financial institutions, whether in the context of banking and finance disputes, or in claimant professional liability actions.

She specialises in managing multi-claims litigation, having advised both claimants and defendants in dealing with large portfolios of high value & complex claims. She is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association.

Caroline works with her colleagues to help clients arrive at the right solution to their issue, minimising impact and maximising success. She is supported by our extensive dispute resolution practice with a proven track record in the highest-profile cases and cross-border, multi-sector expertise.

  • Managing and advising on a very high value (£hundreds of millions) portfolio of pre-action contract claims concerning the supply of goods.
  • Managing and advising on the defence of a £multi million portfolio of claims in misrepresentation and breach of contract.
  • Advising a leading UK financial institution and a major building society on portfolios of professional negligence claims arising from residential lending.
  • Advising a private bank on complex, sensitive fraud and insolvency issues.
  • Providing debt recovery and insolvency advice to major UK banks in relation to business customer disputes, including contested and uncontested debts.
