Jeremy is the head of Burges Salmon's international team and also leads the firm's intellectual property and sports teams. Jeremy has extensive experience in all areas of contentious and transactional IP including trade marks, patents and copyright. He has also worked widely in the areas of sponsorship, merchandising, advertising and sales promotion, defamation and internet issues.
Jeremy is a member of most leading IP organisations including CIPA, ITMA, MARQUES, AIPPI, PTMG and ECTA and is a Committee Member of the INTA. He is recognised as an expert in trade mark law by Chambers UK, "Who's Who Legal" and "World Trade Mark Law Report".
Jeremy is a regular speaker and writer on IP issues and is a guest lecturer on passing off and trade marks on the Oxford University IP Diploma course.
