About
Aarya is a trainee solicitor in the firm’s Bristol office. She began her training contract with Burges Salmon in September 2026, having successfully completed the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). She will qualify as a solicitor in 2028.
In 2025, Aarya worked as a paralegal in the firm’s Banking and Finance team, where she regularly worked on various domestic and multi-jurisdictional finance transactions. She gained experience in drafting legal document and in managing the CPs process across a range of real estate finance, corporate finance, and project finance transactions. Aarya also assisted the Professional Support Lawyers by maintaining legal precedents to support the department’s technical knowledge and know-how.
Experience
- Acted for a private banking and wealth management client on a landmark financing of the UK’s first Net Zero Carbon hotel by vocoZeal as part of a £22 million project to create a 100% electric hotel.
- Darwin Leisure: Assisted in advising our long standing client as Borrower on a £50 million facility to support the expansion of the business.
- Managed the distribution of client roadmaps and policies to support departmental knowledge. Developed internal precedent documents for junior lawyers.
