About
Ailsa is a senior associate in the firm’s Real Estate team having joined the firm in 2012. She specialises in real estate development, investment and management.
She acts exclusively for landowners including The Crown Estate and family trusts on the disposal of strategic land by way of option agreements, promotion agreements or conditional contracts.
Ailsa also advises investors, developers and occupiers on all aspects of their UK property legal requirements with a particular focus on the office sector.
Experience
- The Crown Estate: Advising on a range of transactions on its Rural, Windsor and Strategic portfolios including the acquisition, promotion and disposal of strategic land and agreements for the development and letting of a variety of property types.
- Family trusts: Acting in connection with the grant of a hybrid agreement over land at Plasdŵr, Cardiff for the development of 6,000 homes and the marketing and disposal of the consented land for residential development and related infrastructure.
- Multinational IT company: Advising on its UK wide office portfolio work including the freehold disposal of its UK headquarters, leases of office premises within a new development in Manchester and the development and letting of offices in Bristol.
- St James’s Place: advising on its UK wide office portfolio including leases of office premises in Manchester, London, Solihull and St Albans.
