Amy is a Director in our Corporate and M&A team. She joined Burges Salmon in 2020 from British Telecommunications plc.

She advises both public and private companies across a wide range of sectors on a variety of both transactional and advisory matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity fundraising and corporate reorganisations.

Experience

  • Royal Sens: Advising Royal Sens, a leading provider of labels and packaging across Europe, on its acquisition of Tipografic, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of wet glue paper and reel-fed BOPP labels.
  • Gooch & Housego PLC: Advising Gooch & Housego PLC on a number of acquisitions including the acquisition of Artemis Optical, an advanced thin film coating specialist.
  • Zetland Capital: Advising Zetland Capital on various acquisitions within the hotels and hospitality sector including the acquisitions of the Macdonald Manchester and Macdonald Holyrood hotels.
  • ITM Power PLC: Advising ITM Power PLC, the energy storage and clean fuel company, on a £60 million strategic partnership with Vitol Holdings SARL for wholly owned subsidiary ITM Motive.
  • EDF UK: Advising EDF UK on its £25 million corporate disposal to Kistos Energy of two onshore UK gas storage facilities.
