Amy joined the firm’s Pensions and Lifetime Savings team in 2026, as a professional support lawyer and senior associate based in our London office.
Since qualifying in 2007, Amy has advised trustee boards and employers across the full spectrum of pensions law. She understands that pensions issues can be complex and constantly evolving, which is why she places great value on building lasting relationships and providing clear, approachable and tailored advice.
Amy has a particular interest in supporting trustee boards and employers operating within the charity and non-profit sector. Having spent several years working for a legal access charity, she brings a genuine understanding of the unique circumstances and challenges that charitable organisations face.
Amy is a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers and actively contributes to consultation responses, webinars and industry events.
Experience
- Pensions documentation: Drafting new rules, deeds of amendment, policies and member communications for trustee clients with complex historical benefit structures.
- Pensions advice: Advising on pension scheme governance, including compliance with relevant legislation, case law and regulatory guidance.
- Pensions projects: Supporting larger-scale projects such as pension scheme mergers, scheme closures, and buy-in and buy-out exercises.
- Employer funding: Advising on employer funding proposals, including liability management exercises, contingent assets and asset-backed solutions.
- LGPS Admission Agreements: Advising on the drafting and review of admission agreements, as well as LGPS exit matters and related issues.
