Amy is a senior trade mark attorney in the firm’s Intellectual Property team. Her work focuses on providing strategic and practical commercial IP portfolio management advice.
She advises on international portfolios, brand audits, branding initiatives and collaborations, also providing strategic pre-launch clearance and UK and EU trade mark and design filing advice, alongside managing trade mark portfolios and related disputes.
Amy advises clients across all sectors but has particular experience in the fashion, retail, cosmetics/personal care, energy and food and beverage sectors.
She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA )and MARQUES and a regular contributor to the firm’s intellectual property bulletin Concept as well as industry leading publication World Trademark Review and for the CITMA professional publication.

- Starbucks: Managing its UK trade mark portfolio including advising on new product launches, pre-launch clearance and enforcement.
- Victoria’s Secret: Managing its UK and EU trade mark portfolio and advising on new branding and product design initiatives and pre-launch clearance as well as brand enforcement and dispute resolution in relation encroaching third parties.
- St Andrews Brewers (Eden Mill): Managing the Scottish Distiller’s global trade mark and designs portfolio, including advising on enforcement.
- Ordnance Survey: Managing its global IP portfolio, including providing strategic filing advice.
- Harbour Energy: Managing its global trade mark portfolio, including providing auditing and watching services.
- Superdry: Working as in-house counsel, managing its IP portfolio new and advising on the consolidation of its global brand protection strategy, product launches, creative and social media content, branding initiatives, licencing and collaborations.
