About
Anousha attended the University of Oxford from 2015-2019, studying an undergraduate degree in French and Spanish literature. During this time, she completed a year abroad working in Costa Rica as a marketing assistant and volunteering at one of France’s largest consumer rights organisations in Lyon.
She has worked as a legal assistant at a full-service law firm in East Anglia in the private client, tax and estate planning team. Then, before completing her LPC and MSc in Law & Business with distinction in 2023, Anousha worked in Burges Salmon’s client on-boarding team, supporting the firm’s client due diligence and AML compliance checks.
In August 2023, she started as a trainee at the firm, and has held seats in Dispute Resolution, UK Tax and Trusts, Corporate Finance and Pensions & Lifetime Savings.
Anousha has experience in matters including professional negligence, public inquiries, energy M&A, trusts and succession planning for high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs, occupational pension scheme benefit queries advice and scheme wind-ups.
She is a member of the BCultured Engagement committee, assisting in organising cultural events celebrating ethnic diversity at the firm, such as Burges Salmon’s first Ramadan Iftar event in 2024.
