About
Ben is a Solicitor in our Commercial and Technology team. He advises on a broad range of commercial contracts, technology transactions, data protection and cyber security matters, as well as intellectual property.
Ben also has in-house legal experience, having completed a secondment with EDF’s Nuclear New Build team, where he supported the delivery of high-value NEC and FIDIC construction contracts, alongside a range of commercial licensing and supply agreements. He also has experience in the firm’s Corporate M&A and Banking & Finance teams, advising on private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, group reorganisations, business disposals, and the financing of energy and real estate projects.
Alongside his transactional experience gained during his training contract, Ben completed a seat in Burges Salmon’s Disputes team, where he supported complex commercial litigation matters across the transportation and industrials sectors, with a particular focus on the aviation industry. Prior to joining Burges Salmon, Ben gained contentious legal experience assisting King’s Counsel in Crown Court proceedings.
Beyond his legal practice, he has contributed to a range of community and charitable initiatives, including helping to coordinate fundraising activities through the firm’s charity committee.
