Ben trained at Burges Salmon and qualified into the Real Estate team in December 2021.
He has experience of acting on a wide range of commercial property transactions including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, portfolio and asset management, real estate finance, and administration and insolvency matters.
Ben advises individuals, institutions, public sector and corporate clients across a number of the firm’s core sectors and specialist areas of expertise.
Experience
- Wasps RFC: Advising FRP Advisory, Wasps Holdings Limited and the ACL Companies on the property elements of the administration of the Wasps Holdings Group including the sale of the Coventry Building Society Arena.
- The Crown Estate: Acting on a variety of matters across the Rural, Traditional and Windsor porfolios.
- Lloyds Bank Plc: Supporting Lloyds Bank in relation to high-value acquisition financing, development financing and portfolio refinancing transactions across a wide range of UK real estate assets.
- John Lewis Partnership and Waitrose: Advising on a number of transactions involving their UK property portfolios.
- Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO): Advising on leases of commercial land.
- Border to Coast Pensions Partnership: Supporting a multi-disciplinary team on the launch of a £1.2 billion UK real estate fund.
