Charlie is a solicitor in the firm’s Projects team, advising public and private sector clients on complex commercial contracts, infrastructure projects, regulatory and public procurement matters.

Charlie works across a range of sectors including energy, transport, nuclear, defence and technology. Her experience includes advising on major infrastructure and operational projects, negotiating and reviewing complex commercial agreements, supporting strategic procurements and advising on procurement and regulatory issues.

She regularly advises on commercial contracting structures, infrastructure delivery arrangements and procurement risk, and supports clients throughout the lifecycle of major projects, from procurement and contract development through to implementation and delivery.

Experience

  • Commercial contracts: Advising on the drafting, negotiation and review of complex commercial agreements across the energy, transport, technology and infrastructure sectors.
  • Public procurement: Supporting public and private sector clients on strategic procurements, including procurement strategy, tender documentation, framework agreements and compliance with procurement legislation.
  • Energy and utilities: Advising on a range of energy and infrastructure projects, including power purchase agreements, regulatory matters, commercial contracting arrangements and the development of energy-related infrastructure projects.
  • Transport: Advising train operators and transport sector clients on rolling stock, maintenance and related commercial arrangements, including procurement and contractual risk issues.
