About
Charlie is a trainee solicitor in the firm’s Bristol office, undertaking his first seat in the Corporate M&A team.
Before joining the firm, Charlie spent over eight years serving as an officer in the British Army. During this time, he advised senior stakeholders, led large teams and delivered complex programmes across the UK, Europe and Africa. His background provides valuable insight into leadership, governance, risk management and large-scale project delivery, as well as an understanding of the defence sector and its stakeholders.
Charlie studied Ancient History and Arabic language at the University of Exeter, completing his legal education at The University of Law – graduating with Distinction. He brings a commercial and solutions-focused approach to supporting clients on corporate transactions and strategic business matters.
Experience
- Corporate M&A: Assisting with transaction management, disclosure processes, legal research and preparation of transaction documents.
- Project Management: Experience working with public sector organisations, defence stakeholders and large operational teams in the UK and overseas.
- Risk Management: Operational delivery, strategic planning and governance within the Ministry of Defence and NATO.
