About

Charlotte heads up the Business Development (BD) team and is the strategic lead for the firm’s Key Account Management and Client Listening programmes, as well as the firm’s business planning cycle. She is responsible for ensuring that the business development team are appropriately aligned and equipped to support the firm’s growth ambitions in all of our chosen markets.

She provides best practice BD support and works collaboratively with the head of marketing communications and head of pursuits to ensure a seamless service to the business. Her central programme role means that she needs to work effectively with key members of other business services functions such as knowledge management, IT, learning and development, people, innovation, project management and finance.

Charlotte is also a member of the marketing leadership team, reporting to the firm’s chief marketing officer. Her team-wide responsibilities include the planning and implementation of the Marketing team’s training and development programme, and oversight of the Marketing team’s risk register. She has also held a variety of roles at other legal and professional services firms.

Experience

  • Charlotte has led the scoping, design and implementation of the firm’s Key Account Management programme and has introduced new best practice tools and guidance to support legal colleagues.
  • Head of client programmes at a previous firm: Leading a number of workstreams including bids, client feedback, account management, CRM and business development.
  • Head of bids at a previous firm: Leading a team of cross-sector bid specialists and a number of international panel tenders.
  • Account manager at a previous firm: A client-facing sales role, responsible for developing client relationships in the insurance sector.
