Charlotte is an associate in the firm’s Dispute Resolution team.
She has experience advising both public and private sector clients on a broad range of commercial and corporate matters including complex contract, misrepresentation and breach of warranty claims, banking and finance disputes and director and shareholder disputes. She also has experience with bread of fiduciary duties and professional negligence.
These disputes cover a range of sectors including financial services, banking, insurance, energy and natural resources.
Charlotte is experienced in supporting clients in complex legal matters at all stages of High Court proceedings and advising on alternative forms of dispute resolution including mediation.
Experience
- Post Office Limited: Acting for Post Office Limited in their role as Core Participant to the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry. Experience includes advising Post Office on their approach to Phases 5 to 7 of the inquiry and ongoing disclosure obligations.
- European bank: Acting for a European bank which had invested in an Online Real Estate Investment Platform. The dispute related to an unfair prejudice petition and a breach of warranty claim against the directors of the investment platform.
- Investment fund: Acting for an investment fund in enforcement of a sample of Sovereign Debt Instruments from a holding in excess of €1 billion by a state entity in Commercial Court proceedings.
- Financial Services Compensation Scheme: Acting for FSCS in claims relating to unsuitable pension transfer advice given by financial services providers which caused financial loss to consumers.
- Public sector purchaser: Representing a public sector purchaser of PPE supplies in a high value claim in breach of contract and misrepresentation.
- Public sector client: Advising a public sector client on its compliance with regulatory guidance to identify any areas of potential judicial review challenge and to advise on the mitigation of that risk.
