About
Charlotte is a senior associate in the Pensions team, advising a broad range of trustees on all aspects of pensions law. Her experience covers a number of large and complex projects including bulk transfers, scheme mergers and closures. She advises trustees on proposals to buy-in, and in some cases buy-out and wind up the pension scheme.
She also provides regular training for trustees on a range of pensions issues.
Experience
- Closure to accrual: Advising the Trustee of a DB pension scheme with assets of £1 billion sponsored by Leonardo MW Limited in relation to a proposal to close the scheme to future benefit accrual.
- Buy-in: Advising the Trustee of a DB pension scheme with assets of £500 million on a complex buy-in project which involved the harmonisation of benefits.
- Merger: Advising the Trustee of a DB pension scheme with assets of £500 million on the desegregation of the scheme’s four sections.
- Master trust transfer: Advising the Trustee of a large pension scheme on the transfer of its DC section and AVC benefits to a master trust.
