About

Chloe is a senior associate in the funds and financial regulation team and focuses on private investment funds.

She has worked in private practice in both Scotland and in London and has trained in-house at one of the UK’s largest financial institutions. She has considerable experience advising fund managers in the private equity, infrastructure and real estate sectors on the establishment and offering of private funds, including advising managers on the structuring, marketing and ongoing management of such funds.

Chloe also has considerable experience advising a range of investors, including institutional investors, DFIs and family offices on the terms of primary and secondary fund investments.

Experience

  • Advised a £34billion UK pension fund on multiple primary investments, totalling over $1bn in value.
  • Advised a DFI on its primary commitments into several impact investment funds, focused on private credit strategy for Africa and emerging markets.
  • Advised a family office on the deployment of £100million of capital through multiple primary investments.
  • Advised a large international asset manager, on the secondary acquisition of portfolio interests from a European investment bank in two funds, established in the Cayman Islands and France, respectively.
  • Advised a DFI on the secondary sale of its portfolio interests in nine funds based in South Asia and East Asia to a Jersey limited partnership.
  • Advised a leading renewable energy investor on the formation of an open-ended fund focusing on offshore wind assets.
