Clive has worked on leading major pensions matters for clients for over 20 years. His work ranges across the whole scope of pensions work, from scheme and employer ongoing advisory work to major regulatory cases.

He is known for his client-focused and pragmatic approach focusing on exceptional outcomes for clients. Consistent client feedback recognises his dedication to client service and also his negotiations skills.

Clive works on a wide range of market-leading projects including in relation to de-risking and super funds such as Clara. He also provides extensive support and strategic insights in relation to corporate transactions from a trustee and employer perspective guided from his five years at the Pensions Regulator and continuing work thereafter. He has worked on some of the leading pensions regulatory cases in the industry including Silentnight, Bernard Matthews and McDonalds.

He is also a leading figure in respect of the industry involvement, being the Treasurer of IPEBLA, a member of the PMI’s Policy committee, the PLSA’s legal advisory board and the APL’s international committee.
