Dan is a Solicitor in the Corporate and M&A team, based in the Bristol office.
He has experience advising on a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures and corporate governance. He has acted for clients operating across various sectors, including technology, financial services, hotels and leisure, consumer brands and energy, amongst others.
Prior to joining Burges Salmon, Dan trained at a regional law firm in Bristol.
Experience
- Dart Marina Group: Advising on the sale of Dart Marina Group, comprising of Dart Marina, the Dart Marina Hotel and the Dartmouth-Kingswear Higher Ferry to Premier Marinas, owned by the Wellcome Trust.
- Envance: Advising Envance, a leading environmental and sustainability consultancy, on its sale to safety and compliance consultancy, Celnor Group, and its integration into Celnor’s Built Environment division.
- Frobishers: Advising on the sale of Frobishers, a premium Devon-based juice and soft drinks business, to AG Barr plc, a UK-listed soft drinks group owning brands such as Boost, IRN-BRU and Rubicon.
- Schloarcy: Advising Scholarcy, an educational technology business, on its sale to Antrim-based Texthelp.
