David has experience advising a range of public and private sector organisations in the transport, healthcare, IT and technology, nuclear, utilities and defence sectors.
His experience includes high value and complex commercial litigation, with a particular focus on advising contracting authorities and bidders in procurement disputes and providing regulatory advice across a number of sectors. David has also worked within the Solicitor to the Inquiry teams on several large public inquiries. He regularly attends industry events and working group meetings within the transport, procurement and public law sectors.

- Atos IT Services UK Limited: Part of the team which brought a substantial challenge against a central government department over the procurement of a 10-year supercomputer contract.
- A contracting authority: Successfully navigated a procurement challenge brought by a bidder in relation to the delivery of a nationally significant event.
- A train operating company: Providing strategic advice in relation to a dispute with a rolling stock manufacturer over the late delivery of trains.
- FirstGroup PLC: Providing regulatory advice to FirsGroup train operating companies in relation to the delivery of passenger services.
- IT company: Participated in the satisfactory settlement of a dispute with a major global fashion brand over the delivery of services under a subscription licence and software agreement.
- UK Covid-19 Inquiry and Omagh Bombing Inquiry: A core member of the Solicitor to the Inquiry teams on two significant ongoing public inquiries.
