Elena joined the Construction and Engineering team in March 2026 after qualifying as a solicitor in January 2026.
She completed her training contract in-house with a leading offshore wind farm developer in Scotland, where she advised on multi-million pound energy and infrastructure contracts and construction and operations claims. Elena has experience advising developers and lenders on various contract forms including FIDIC, LOGIC, JCT, and BIMCO.
Experience
- Offshore wind farm developer: Advised on LOGIC contracts for the fabrication of J-tube cages and fasteners and a FIDIC-based service and maintenance agreement for high-voltage assets in relation to a 800MW offshore wind farm.
- Battery storage developer: Advised on a sub-EPC contract for a battery energy storage system project.
- Contractors: Advised contractors on FIDIC-based contracts for a hydropower storage project and an electrical infrastructure project.
- Hotel developer: Advised on professional appointments, collateral warranties, and work instructions for a large-scale hotel development.
- Lenders: Acted for major commercial lenders and advised on JCT contracts and supply and installation agreements for a range of projects including an industrial unit, a solar project, and a large-scale office development.
