About
Emily attended the University of Exeter from 2020-2023, studying an undergraduate degree in Law. In her final year, this included studying an optional module in Advanced German. During her degree, Emily worked as a senior student ambassador, helping to coordinate large campus events and roll out safety measures during the coronavirus pandemic. She completed a vacation scheme with Burges Salmon in June 2022 and accepted a training contract shortly after.
From 2023-2024, Emily completed her Masters in Legal Practice with the University of Law. This encapsulated both Solicitors Qualification Exams (SQE1&2).
She joined the firm in September 2024, and is currently undertaking a seat in Dispute Resolution, focusing primarily on commercial and financial disputes. She also has a strong interest in ESG work.

- Drafting: Drafting thought leadership pieces on key developments in the sustainability space.
- Complex claims: Reviewing complex claim statements in relation to multi-jurisdictional investigations of corruption and civil recovery.
- Internal administration: Streamlining internal processes relating to administration and invoicing.
- Court hearings: Preparing evidence bundles for mediations and court hearings.
