Emma is the firm's innovation manager, focusing on improving and innovating the delivery of legal services to our clients. She achieves this through a combination of legal knowledge, technology and people and it's thanks to her experience as a solicitor, that she works to promote collaboration and innovation in the delivery of solutions for legal teams and clients. 

As a keen member of multiple research and development projects within the firm, Emma champions the implementation of advanced technology.

Prior to joining the business solutions team, Emma specialised in corporate finance and advised on a broad spectrum of corporate finance work for both private and public companies, cooperatives and alternative structures. Previous corporate finance experience includes acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations, equity investments, joint ventures and general advisory work.  

  • Involved in the pilot and implementation of document analytics products and responsible for collaborating with a cross-firm working group to leverage AI and document analytics to improve legal service delivery.
  • Involved in the development of an advanced technology training programme for the firm's lawyers.
  • Advising Premier Asset Management Group PLC on its £140 million AIM IPO. 
  • Advising Marks and Spencer on establishing the M&S Energy Society - a ground-breaking collaboration to fund the installation of solar panels at M&S stores. This also included advisory on corporate structuring and public offer, which enabled its customers and the wider public to invest in the scheme. 
  • Advising on and coordinating a number of large group reorganisation projects involving multiple companies, capital reductions, and business and share transfers.
