About
Gemma attended the University of Law in Bristol from 2015-2018, studying an undergraduate degree in Law. In 2019, she worked as a paralegal in Property Disputes at two top-tier firms in Bristol. Gemma spent the majority of her time assisting on commercial landlord and tenant disputes (including telecommunications, 1954 Act lease renewals, break options and rent reviews ).
She has worked in our Real Estate, Banking and Finance, Corporate Finance, and Construction and Engineering practices.
Experience
- Banks: Acting on behalf of two major banks on the £130 million funding package to support a major wind farm project in Scotland.
- Music Education provider: Advising a leading music education provider on a multi-stage structural reorganisation.
- Commercial property transactions: Assisting on a range of commercial property transactions, including property disposals, leases, deeds of variation, and various licences.
- Disputes: Assisting on JCT related disputes (adjudications).
