About

Harrison is an associate in the firm’s Pensions and Lifetime Savings team. He has a wide range of experience advising pension scheme trustees, companies, LGPS funds and other organisations on a broad range of pensions legal issues, including public sector pensions issues.

In addition to his client-facing work, Harrison is one of the firm’s trainee and legal apprentice supervisors and is a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers.

He qualified into the Pensions and Lifetime Savings team in 2019 after training with the firm. Prior to joining Burges Salmon, Harrison studied law at the University of Cambridge.

  • AT&T ISTEL Pension Plan: Advising the Trustee of the Plan on all UK pensions legal matters.
  • PLC’s Pension Scheme: Supporting the trustees of the pension scheme with all legal aspects of a full buy-in transaction.
  • Project Lancaster: Advising the trustees of the pension scheme on complex historic documentation issues and the impact on scheme benefits.
  • Large LGPS Administering Authority: Advising on outsourcing arrangements, including drafting admission agreements and related documents.
  • Confidential Schemes: Advising trustees of pension schemes on a broad range of pensions legal issues, including complex interpretation of scheme rules and legislation, drafting of scheme documentation and advice in relation to member cases.
