About
Imogen is a solicitor in Burges our Pensions team based in Bristol.
She graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in law. Imogen then completed a Masters in Legal Practice at BPP University receiving a distinction.
She trained and qualified at Linklaters LLP in the Pension Funds team before joining the Burges Salmon team in October 2025. She advises clients on pensions matters in relation to both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes.
Experience
- Reviewing benefit specifications and advising clients on buy-in projects.
- Advising employers on the pensions aspects of corporate transactions to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
- Interpreting scheme rules and advising trustees on pensions queries.
- Supporting the wider pensions team with business-as-usual requests, contributing to the day-to-day legal advice for trustee clients and employers on a broad range of pensions issues.
- Providing guidance on IDRP processes and preparing responses to The Pensions Ombudsman for trustee clients.
