Her broad expertise includes cyber disputes, pension disputes, disputes in the rail, energy, and financial services sectors, and discrimination claims under the Equality Act 2010.
Experience
- Havant Biogas Limited and Ors v GEMA: Acting for four SPVs in high-value proceedings for just satisfaction following a successful judicial review of a subsidy decision.
- URE Energy Limited: Acting for URE Energy in successful Commercial Court proceedings for significant damages following the termination of a large-scale electricity supply contract with Notting Hill Genesis.
- Transport client: Advising a major transport client following a cyber-attack suffered by one of its suppliers, which resulted in significant volumes of personal data being accessed by a threat actor and caused substantial disruption to the client’s operations.
- Italian client: Advising on a dispute against a licensor of a major sportswear brand, which centred on the termination of a distribution licence and involved complex contract law questions as well as IP infringement considerations and the issue of enforcement of English judgments in other jurisdictions.
- Food producer: Advising in relation to compensation for destruction of an onshore wind turbine by fire.
- Transport clients: Advising on discrimination claims and duties under the Equality Act 2010.
