Julie Book Director

Julie is a director in the corporate team. Her work covers all areas of corporate finance but she specialises in complex M&A transactions, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations. She works for a range of national and international private companies, investors and entrepreneurs on both UK and cross-border deals. Julie advises clients active in a range of sectors and has a particular focus on private wealth. Julie also advises on company law and corporate governance issues.

• Advising the selling shareholders on the sale of Pukka Herbs to Unilever.
• Advising the shareholders of Lightfoot Innovations, the UK’s leading provider of driver behaviour solutions for light commercial vehicle fleets, on its investment from Volpi Capital.
• Advising the founders of Kaisen Consulting on the sale to Deloitte UK.
• Advising specialist lender Hodge Limited on the sale of Hodge Life Assurance Company Limited to Reinsurance Group of America.
• Advising Taylor Maxwell, one of the UK's leading suppliers of timber and cladding, on its sale to Brickability Group plc.
• Advising JET Retail UK Limited on the acquisition of a number of petrol forecourt companies.
• Advising RAC on its telematics joint venture arrangements with Nebula Systems Limited.
