About

Julie joined the firm’s Corporate and M&A team in 2011.

Specialising in advising UK and international companies, entrepreneurs and investors, Julie utilises her experience across a wide range of corporate matters, including complex M&A transactions, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations and corporate governance. She advises on both UK and cross-border transactions across a range of sectors, including Built Environment, Transport and Technology.

Julie is part of the Private Wealth sector group with a particular focus on family offices and entrepreneurs. She also leads the firm’s external BEntrepreneurial – The Female Forum network.

Experience

  • Fasadgruppen Group AB: Advising Fasadgruppen (a Swedish company listed on Nasdaq Stockholm) on the acquisition of Clear Line Holdings Ltd for £119.9 million.
  • FirstGroup plc: Advising on the acquisition of Anderson Travel, a London based coach operator, as part of the expansion by First Bus in key UK locations.
  • Regency Purchasing Group: Advising the shareholders of Regency Purchasing Group, an operator in the hospitality and leisure sector, on its sale to Foodbuy.
  • Fido AI Limited: Advising Fido, an artificial intelligence leak detection software company, on its Series B investment by CRH.
  • Taylor Maxwell: Advising the shareholders of Taylor Maxwell, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of timber and cladding, on its sale to Brickability Group plc.
  • Lightfoot Innovations: Advising the shareholders of Lightfoot Innovations, a leading provider of driver behaviour solutions, on its investment from Volpi Capital.
