About
Lydia is a newly-qualified solicitor in the Real Estate team. She joined Burges Salmon in September 2025 after completing her training at Charles Russell Speechlys.
She undertakes work across a wide variety of Real Estate matters, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work and strategic land. She has particular experience in development work, having assisted on a variety of such matters during her training. She also has experience in dealing with unregistered land and disposals and transfers of equity of leasehold property for private clients.
Experience
- Commercial client: Acted in the disposal of commercial property with an element of unregistered land.
- Development clients: Assisted with the preparation of leases, deeds of easement, licences, acquisition documents and advising on post-completion enquiries.
- Private clients: Acted in various residential property transactions including disposals and transfers of equity. Advised clients on topics such as the Building Safety Act 2022 and amalgamation.
