About
Mo is a solicitor in the Banking and Finance team, having joined in April 2025. Mo has advised lenders and sponsors on a range of financing transactions across sectors, including energy, media, private equity, and real estate. Building on his prior experience in corporate and leveraged finance, Mo has since broadened his expertise since joining the team and has advised lenders and sponsors on project finance and real estate transactions.
Prior to joining the team, Mo trained at a leading international firm in London and completed a secondment at LiveScore Group, a leading global sports media company, during his training contract.
Experience
- Advised a syndicated group of lenders on a £1.1 billion loan to one of the largest energy operators in the United Kingdom, to bolster their working capital.
- Advised a leading private equity firm, as the sponsor, on the acquisition financing of its £145m acquisition of a leading insurance company in Germany.
- Advised a mid-market private equity firm, as the sponsor, on a £55 million refinancing, in connection with its portfolio companies within the luxury retail sector.
- Advised Horizon Capital LLP on the financing of its acquisitions relating to Jadeite Bidco Limited (now Turnmill) and Alchemist, and advised on the subsequent accession processes.
