Nathan is a senior associate in the firms Private Client team having joined the firm in August 1995. He represents trustees of UK trusts and offshore trusts, advising trustees on their UK tax reporting obligations and compliance to include inheritance tax, capital gains tax and the trust registration service.
He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is the Wales and West representative on the national STEP committee.
Experience
- Offshore trustees: Advising multiple offshore Trustees on their UK tax reporting obligations and completion of the required tax returns for those Trustees.
- Management of large trusts: Annual management of a large number of Trusts to include the completion of accounts, tax returns, inheritance tax returns, tax certificates and distributions to beneficiaries.
- Trustees: Advising Trustees on compliance and regulatory matters to include Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), Common Reporting Standards (CRS) and the Trust Registration Service (TRS).
- Charitable trusts: Management of charitable Trusts to include reports to the Charity Commission, charitable donations and annual accounts.

- Qualified as a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) in 2008
