About
Rachel is a senior associate in the Dispute Resolution team, specialising in professional negligence, particularly on behalf of claimants in claims against surveyors and solicitors. She also has experience in contractual and commercial disputes; shareholder and company disputes; and fraud and white collar crime.
She acts for a wide range of clients, from High-Net-Worth Individuals to financial institutions. Rachel has both High Court and Court of Appeal experience, and has advised on various cases requiring urgent injunctive relief to protect the client’s commercial interests (including freezing orders and search orders).

- Specialist investment fund: Acting in relation to a high-value negligence claim against commercial agents for the negligent over-valuation of a shopping centre as security for a £17m refinancing loan.
- Investment fund: Advising on a negligence and fraud claim in relation two large scale commercial developments.
- US-based corporation: Acting to recover financial compensation from the former managing director of its UK subsidiary for breaches of his fiduciary duties.
- International aerospace company: Advising on an urgent injunction against an employee.
- Irish-based company: Advising on a breach of warranty claim, including advice on a freezing injunction and product recall.
- UK financial institution: Advising in a deceit/conspiracy claim against solicitors.
