About

Rebecca is a senior associate PSL in the firm’s Construction and Engineering team, bringing extensive experience to non-contentious matters. She advises on the procurement and construction of complex projects and real estate developments.

Her experience spans various sectors, including infrastructure and real estate. She has a particular focus on strategic alliancing, framework agreements, and partnering agreements, ensuring successful project delivery.

Experience

  • Public sector transport body: Acting for a public sector transport body in relation to its NEC 3 Engineering and Construction Contract and long term operation and maintenance contract for the construction and operation of a transport system.
  • Energy provider: Advising an energy provider on its portfolio of contracts in the sale of its subsidiary. Undertaking a due diligence exercise in relation to brine supply and de-brining contracts, repair and maintenance contracts, and consultancy agreements.
  • Non-departmental public body: Advising a non-departmental public body on various track related projects including for the construction of depots and installation of overhead and catenary lines.
  • Government Department: Advising on the construction of a new office building and negotiating the construction elements of an AfL and funding agreement, as well as advising on the building contract, professional appointments and collateral warranties.
  • Local authority: Providing strategic advice to a local authority on contractual models and procurement structures, as well as advice on permitted changes to completed contracts and available exemptions under public procurement legislation.
  • Local Government Body: Advising a local government body on its joint venture developer framework agreement.
