Rufus Darwall is a trainee solicitor in the firm’s Bristol office. He joined Burges Salmon in 2026, having successfully completed the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE).
Before starting his training contract, Rufus gained 10 months of experience in music digital media advertising in Montreal, Canada before a short stint as an assistant at a leading Canadian law firm. He also worked as a paralegal for 9 months at a television distribution company in London.
