Serena is a solicitor in the Pensions and Lifetime Savings team. She trained at Osborne Clarke and joined the Burges Salmon London team in November 2024. She advises on a broad range of DC and DB pensions matters, including buy-in / buy-out work, bulk transfers, and public sector Local Government Pension Scheme work. Beyond this, she is passionate about diversity and inclusion in the pensions industry and is a member of the firm’s BCultured network.

- Bulk transfer agreement: Acting for trustees during a major bulk transfer of members and liabilities of a DB scheme.
- Pensions Compliance: Providing trustee clients with ad-hoc and strategic advice on a broad range of DB and DC issues.
- Buy-in and buy-out of schemes: Advising in relation to the buy-in and buy-out of schemes and their subsequent winding up.
