About
Tia is a trainee solicitor in the Construction and Engineering team and is due to qualify in 2028. Prior to joining Burges Salmon, Tia studied Law at the University of Bristol from 2020 to 2023.
During her time at Bristol, she wrote for Dicta Magazine and held a number of committee roles within the University’s Coffee Society. She then completed an LLM in Intellectual Property Law at Cardiff University, where she received the Highest Overall Mark Award.
Between 2023-2024, Tia joined Burges Salmon as a Paralegal in the Projects department, working within the Defence team. She subsequently completed the LLM Legal Practice (SQE 1 & 2) at the University of Law, passing both SQE assessments on her first attempt.
