About
Tia is a solicitor apprentice and is currently in her fourth annual seat. During her first annual seat, Tia worked in our Real Estate team; in her second year, she was seated in our Projects team and also gained the experience of working within our Dispute Resolution team – assisting with a highly confidential public inquiry. She then went on to spend her third year in Construction and Engineering before joining her current team, Banking and Finance.
Her experience includes assisting with large scale transactions for companies in both the private and public sector, producing contracts concerning nuclear, energy, procurement and built environment and defence matters.
Experience
- Confidential public inquiry: Assisting with the document review on a highly confidential public inquiry.
- Non-contentious construction and engineering matters: Championing non-contentious construction and engineering matters, focusing on defence and infrastructure for a broad range of clients, including government departments, public sector bodies, developers, and major banks.
- Housing project procurement contracts: Supporting government bodies in the procurement of contracts related to large-scale housing projects.
- Major banks: Managing contracts on behalf of major banks, acting as borrowers and lenders across a range of sectors, with a particular focus on project finance and real-estate finance.
