Will trained at Burges Salmon and qualified into the Projects team in September 2023.
He has experience advising a range of public and private sector organisations on complex commercial transactions and international projects, with a focus on the defence sector and specifically within the air, sea and space domains.
Alongside advising public and private sector clients in relation to public procurement, the single source contracting regime and MoD DEFCONs and policy, Will’s experience includes a 10-month secondment to the Ministry of Defence advising on the international and public law aspects of the flagship sixth generation fighter Global Combat Air Programme.
Experience
- Ministry of Defence: A member of the core team providing support to the UK FCAS / GCAP commercial team on the drafting and negotiation of a complex suite of commercial agreements with UK industry.
- Ministry of Defence: Providing contractual and strategic advice to the Ministry of Defence on the AUKUS programme.
- Ministry of Defence: Supporting the core legal team on the Skynet programmes.
- Various UK defence contractors: Advising on commercial, contractual and regulatory matters across the wider UK defence industry base.
