As part of the opening plenary, Supporting bus reform and protecting services – what next?, Chris Lewis will provide a legal overview of the Bus Services Bill, outlining key implications for operators, authorities and stakeholders. He will then join a panel discussion exploring future delivery models and the evolving regulatory landscape.
Later in the day, Chris Simms and Madison Sutton will lead a breakout session titled Navigating strategies for upgrading to Net Zero bus fleets. This session will examine the legal, commercial and operational challenges of fleet decarbonisation, offering practical guidance to help operators meet government targets and deliver sustainable, zero-emission solutions.
