Laura trained at Burges Salmon and qualified into the Projects team in January 2023. She has experience advising a range of public and private sector organisations in the nuclear, energy, defence and procurement sectors.

Her experience includes providing regulatory, contractual and strategic advice to clients. Laura regularly attends industry events and working group meetings within the nuclear sector.

  • EDF Energy: A member of the core team providing support to EDF Energy on the drafting and negotiation of a complex nuclear fuel supply agreement.
  • Nuclear Decommissioning Authority: Providing advice to the NDA and its subsidiaries on a range of contractual, regulatory and strategic matters.
  • Nuclear Risk Insurers: Advising on the requirements of international nuclear law and the insurance of nuclear risks.
  • Urenco: Advising on nuclear regulatory matters and nuclear liability.
  • UK Ministry of Defence: Advising on the Nuclear Submarine Programmes, including design, build, and disposal phases.
