Momentum within the PISCES sandbox seems to be gathering as on 22 April 2026 Asset Match announced that it has received approval from the Financial Conduct Authority to operate a trading venue within the PISCES framework. Asset Match PISCES will sit alongside two other approved PISCES trading venues, the London Stock Exchange’s Private Security Market and the JP Jenkins Private Market.

Prior to this approval, Asset Match had been operating an online platform for the trading of shares in unquoted, private companies for a number of years and Asset Match PISCES will extend their operations within this new regulatory framework which has been expressly designed by the UK Government for the trading of private company shares.

For further information about the new PISCES framework, please visit our dedicated PISCES hub or contact one of our PISCES team members at Burges Salmon: Nick GravesAJ VenterGuy FrancisCharlotte Hamilton or Eleanor Furlong.

"Ambitious organisations will benefit from the opportunity to access a broader range of potential investors and investors gain a more transparent, regulated way to access some fast-growing, established and unlisted companies." Iain Baillie, Founder and Executive Chair, Asset Match Limited
