Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency

Our Tier 1 ranked team (Chambers and Legal 500) has extensive experience across a wide range of private and public sectors including renewable energy, real estate, pensions, retail, leisure and transport. Most of our domestic work originates in London and the rest of the UK. For cross-border matters, we work closely with our preferred firm international network. We are active members of R3, INSOL, INSOL Europe, ILA and TMA.

Key matters include advising administrators from Grant Thornton on the sale of Montezuma's Chocolates by way of a pre-pack administration; advising FRP Advisory and Wasps Holdings Group on the administration of Wasps, including the sale of the Coventry Building Society Arena to entities controlled by Frasers Group plc; and advising a leading international retailer on the restructuring of its senior revolving credit facility and senior secured notes (with an aggregate value of c.$250 million), which was carried out in parallel with a private equity acquisition and group reorganisation, and a Company Voluntary Arrangement.

Our core CRI team sits within the Banking and Finance department and we work cross-departmentally with key specialists across the firm. This role is for a non-contentious, transactional and advisory associate.
