We are looking for a L&D Business Partner to join our Bristol based team and help drive firm-wide L&D initiatives. In this role, you'll design and deliver high-quality learning solutions that develop legal and business professionals as part of our L&D team. You'll work closely with our Senior L&D Business Partners to support senior populations and talent development programmes, contributing to a blended offering that includes in-person and virtual workshops, cohort-based programmes, and digital learning as led by our Digital Learning team.

You'll also play a key role in broader People projects, helping to ensure our learning offering is innovative, commercial, inclusive, and aligned with strategic priorities.

Join a Growing Team

This is one of two L&D Partner opportunities to join our expanding Learning & Development team. You'll be part of a knowledgeable and collaborative group of nine, including Coordinators, Advisors, Specialists, and Business Partners. Together, we deliver a growing L&D and talent offering that supports high-performing individuals and teams across the firm.

We're proud of our reputation for delivering pragmatic, relevant, and high-impact learning in a professional services environment and promoting a culture of high performance and continuous learning.

What You'll Be Doing

As an L&D Business Partner, you will:

  • Support the Senior L&D Business Partners in developing senior talent and contributing to wider People initiatives.
  • Work with L&D colleagues to design and deliver business skills sessions, tailored team days and programmes across levels for legal and business professionals.
  • Create and facilitate workshops, webinars, cohort-based programmes, and digital learning content.
  • Work with L&D colleagues and other business professionals to support departmental and sector training programmes as relevant.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external providers to deliver impactful development.
  • Use data and insight to measure success and continuously improve our offering.
  • Champion inclusion and align L&D with strategic business priorities.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who:

  • Has proven L&D and talent development experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services.
  • Is confident working with senior stakeholders and facilitating high-calibre sessions.
  • Is a friendly, proactive, and collaborative team player to join a well-regarded and successful team.
  • Brings a consultative, commercial mindset and can influence across the business.
  • Has experience in coaching/mentoring (formal training desirable but not essential).
  • Is comfortable managing high-profile projects and engaging time-poor stakeholders.
  • Is enthusiastic and market-aware about innovation, including using and embedding generative AI tools.
