Join us at the Interchange conference in Manchester on 27-28 February 2024, where senior figures from the transport, energy, infrastructure, asset management, property, construction and tech sectors will come together to discuss achieving a seamlessly integrated transport system that is fit for the future.

We are looking forward to hosting two roundtables at the conference. As part of the discussion, we’re keen to gain a diverse range of insights across the transport, energy and asset management sectors to share learnings and ideas on how industry, government and communities can work together to navigate challenges and deliver change to meet the UK’s Net Zero commitments.

How to strengthen the collaboration between the transport and energy sectors and work together to identify future opportunities and deliver change?

  • How can we identify and overcome the blockers experienced by Transport and to deliver change?
  • What lines of communications exist at industry level to facilitate discussion between the sectors and how can we collaborate to ensure the right infrastructure is being planned for the right place, effectively collaborating with Local Authorities and Government?
  • What discussion forums do we have to address these issues?
  • How do Energy and Transport get a seat at the table and influence those decisions in the planning of infrastructure delivery?
  • Grid connections and grid reforms - what lessons can be learned from the current grid connections process?
  • How can Tech be utilised as an enabler and solution?

 

Investing in sustainable transport – how do we incentivise investment in sustainable transport projects?

  • Investment and the availability of funding
  • The development journey of technology
  • In terms of government support, what are the hurdles that get in the way at each stage?
  • What should the government be doing to overcome this?
