Achieving sales of £40 million in 2018 and listed on the 2019 Sunday Times HSBC International Fast Track 200, Off-Piste Wines has developed an impressive portfolio of modern wines – both proprietary and private-label brands – sourced from 11 different countries.

The strategic investment from BGF is set to support the business’ long-term aspirations, expanding its product range, driving international distribution and establishing new partnerships.

The transaction will see BGF investor Alex Garfitt join Off-Piste Wine’s board along with Andy Fennell, former CMO and Regional President at Diageo, who will become Chair.

The Burges Salmon team, led by director Tim Roberts with assistance from senior associate Pete Dunn and trainee Charlotte Hill, advised BGF on the investment.

Tim Roberts said: “We are delighted to have worked with our valued client on another exciting investment. Off-Piste Wines has founded an impressive business and has significant plans for its future growth. The partnership with BGF will support the company in unlocking its full potential and achieving its business aspirations.”
