The Corporate team from independent UK law firm Burges Salmon has advised the owners of Bristol-based Power Electrics Generators (PEG) on its sale to Glasgow-based generator specialist DTGen.

PEG is widely recognised as one of the most experienced generator sales specialists in the UK. It sells, commissions and installs generators to a blue-chip customer base in the datacentre, industrial and utilities sectors.

The Burges Salmon team advising on the deal was led by partner Nick Graves, alongside senior associate Briony Barber, both from the firm’s Corporate team. Corporate tax support was provided by Hilary Barclay. Luke Bowery advised on the employment aspects of the transaction, with Emily Scaife and Charlotte Wardman providing banking support.

John Pullin, owner of PEG, comments: “The sale of PEG to DTGen marks the beginning of a significant new chapter for PEG. Working with Nick, Briony and the team has been a real pleasure. They provided us with comprehensive specialist advice and helped us navigate a series of complex transactions through to a successful and timely conclusion.
