Alison is a senior associate in the firm’s banking team. She advises financial institutions, corporates and funds in relation to a broad range of finance transactions and specialises in energy and infrastructure finance and real estate finance.

Alison is dual qualified in Scots and English law and regularly advises on Scots law banking matters.

  • Advising Temporis Capital, UK Green Investment Bank and KKR as lenders on renewable energy projects, including the Srondoire and Blackcraig onshore wind farms.
  • Advising RBS on the project financing of the Quixwood Moor Wind Farm.
  • Advising Gravis Capital Partners on the financing and refinancing of a portfolio of AD plants including both operating and construction-phase assets.
  • Advising the senior lender group on the refinancing of a portfolio of single turbine wind projects.
  • Providing advice to Estover Energy in connection with the financing of a biomass CHP plant in Speyside, Scotland, including drafting bespoke security documents.
  • Advising Lloyds Bank plc in relation to a £42 million facility secured over a residential portfolio.
  • Advising a banking syndicate in relation to a £40 million facility relating acquisitions by Brickability Group.
